BIG IDEA: In another episode of I AM CORPORATE, HEAR ME ROAR, Exxon Mobil has tried to use the Bill of Rights to run the Massachusetts and New York Attorneys General out of business by inventing a constitutional right to obstruct state investigations into allegations of fraud. This VOX op-ed points up the spurious nature of “free speech” rights used by corporations to mislead its investors and the public about the dangers of climate change.
