Tulsa APA Makes Channel 6 News

Oklahoma’s first APA is off to an incredible start! This weekend, citizen leaders gathered at the University of Tulsa College of Law, strategizing on how to get money out of our political system. Moving forward, the group plans to meet regularly, engaging with elected officials, the media, and the general public to create awareness and spur progress in the fight for political equality and the 28th Amendment.

Already, they’ve begun to draw attention from the local media. Check out the Tulsa, OK Channel 6 news coverage by clicking on the photo below.

If you’d like to start an APA in your community, email Citizen Empowerment Coordinator Wambui Gatheru at wambuig@americanpromise.net! People power this movement forward, and it’s an honor to work alongside each and every one of you.
