Boston, MA — American Promise, the cross-partisan organization working to make government accountable to voters, not wealth, has named Jenny Parker Chief Communications Officer, effective June 30.
Parker brings a strong track record of advancing mission-driven organizations through strategic communications. As Chief Communications Officer she will oversee messaging, marketing, and media strategy to support the organization’s mission to pass the For Our Freedom Amendment to restore the authority of Congress and the states to set reasonable limits on money in campaigns and elections.
Parker will report to American Promise President Anastasia Khoo.
“Jenny brings the strategic vision and media expertise we need to seize this moment,” said Khoo. “Her leadership will be critical as we grow our national profile, strengthen state-level engagement, and connect more Americans to our mission to restore trust and accountability in our democratic process.”
“I’m excited to join American Promise at a time when so many Americans are pushing for change,” said Parker. “American Promise’s For Our Freedom Amendment is needed to reconnect government with the people it serves, and support for it is growing across the country. I’m excited to elevate all the voices leading this effort.”
Parker most recently served as Vice President of Communications at Conservation International, where she led global media relations, editorial, and digital media. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Marketing and Communications at the National Constitution Center, where her work helped position the Center as the national hub for constitutional education and debate. Earlier in her career she led communications for Fortune, New York Magazine, and ABC News.

With 23 states already signaling support, American Promise is building a national movement to put voters back at the center of our democracy.
