America 2.0
The Constitution is a living document with amendments serving as the tool to reframe and make adjustments as the country evolves. Looking through the lens that we are just now creating what America is and will be, we have the opportunity to use constitutional reform to keep the promise of American self government, making it so “we the people” decide how to best protect our rights, voices and representation against corruption and out of control spending.
It is no accident that our American experiment feels less secure with each election cycle bringing more division, disinformation and dysfunction. Please join Jeff Clements, Founder and President of American Promise, Elizabeth Doty, co-founder of the American Promise National Business Network, and Thomas Van Dyck, Managing Director of RBC Wealth Management and founder of As You Sow in conversation about a vision for an effective democracy and the constitutional strategy that will win this historic advancement.
American Promise is an organization comprised of over 100,000 elected officials, business leaders, volunteers and supporters working for passage of the
For Our Freedom constitutional amendment to limit the outsized influence of spending on our electoral systems. American Promise exists to empower, inspire, and organize Americans to pass a constitutional amendment to combat corruption, end elite and foreign money control of our elections, and secure the free speech and representation of all Americans. This is not for Republicans, Independent or Democrats. It’s for all of us. With more than 75% of Americans supporting a constitutional amendment, and millions taking action, we can do this.
