Join us on April 3rd at the state capitol in Austin for our first ever Texas lobby day! People from around the state will be coming together to address the urgent issue of outside influence and foreign interference in Texas elections.
Hundreds of millions of dollars are pouring in from other states and even other countries. Texans must act now to protect the integrity of our elections. We’re calling for the Texas legislature to rein in this outside political spending. We need to restore the ability of states to implement and regulate their own campaign finance laws.
Please join us in Room E1.018 starting at 9AM. During Lobby Day, we will meet with our representatives to discuss a solution to foreign influence and out-of-state election spending. American Promise organizers will conduct a training at the beginning of the event and provide you will all the resources you need to be successful.

Today we are celebrating a significant victory: Utah became the 23rd state to urge Congress to propose an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that gives states the power to control their own elections.
You can help make Utah’s victory a tipping point in our fight to address the crisis of money in politics. Legislatures in several other states are considering resolutions in support of an amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
