I join the overwhelming majority of Americans to demand an amendment to the United States Constitution to end the domination of big money in politics and give voice to all Americans.
 
I will stand with all Americans, without regard to party or other differences, and urge all candidates and elected officials to do the same, in order to pass and ratify such a constitutional amendment as soon as possible.

Big Money and Free Speech

American Promise President Jeff Clements and Senior Legal Counsel Brian Boyle join a panel with people from across the political spectrum in order to discuss getting big money out of politics. Presented by Cornell Law School and the Institute of Politics and Global Affairs this event is open to all virtually, through Zoom. Since the U.S. Supreme Court decided Citizens United in 2010, people on the right and the left have called to amend the US Constitution to address the flood of big money in politics. Over 800 cities and towns and 20 states have passed resolutions in support of a 28th Amendment. Come hear a discussion with people of very different political beliefs, who agree on this Constitutional amendment.
