Join us for our monthly volunteer meeting for the Candidate Pledge Program!

The American Promise Candidate Pledge is a volunteer-led effort to get candidates and elected officials at all levels of government to pledge on the record that they will use their office to advance a Constitutional amendment to put people, not money, in charge of our political system. The Candidate Pledge Campaign is vital to our success and we need your help to reach more candidates. We collected just over 400 pledges last year and we have a goal of collecting 500 in 2022!

We will use this space to provide deeper advocacy training for getting endorsements. We’ll teach you how to get a question about the amendment into newspaper questionnaires and debate forums during the election cycle. We will share with you how to leverage your pledges to get further endorsements and more promotion of the issue. We will even be doing more work to support candidates who sign the pledge to help them get more recognition and provide them with more information regarding this issue. This training will happen on the second Thursday of every month at 7:30 PM ET.
