Join us as we continue to sharpen our advocacy skills leading up to the 2022 Citizen Lobby Day! During this training we will offer a detailed overview of what to expect on September 29th. We will review the timeline, agenda, meeting location, map of the U.S. Capitol grounds, food and beverages provided, communication tools, and the leave-behind packet we’ll be using on Citizen Lobby Day.

We will continue to provide live examples of what a successful legislative meeting looks like vs an unproductive meeting, teach you more helpful tips, and give you the opportunity to do live role-playing for these meetings yourself. We will explain the plan to confirm all legislative meetings for September 29th, and provide time for any questions you might have. We will also begin the process of identifying who will play what role for each meeting.

The more prepared we are, the more enjoyable and rewarding this experience will be, so our goal is to make sure you are as prepared and comfortable as possible before the big day!
