I join the overwhelming majority of Americans to demand an amendment to the United States Constitution to end the domination of big money in politics and give voice to all Americans.

I will stand with all Americans, without regard to party or other differences, and urge all candidates and elected officials to do the same, in order to pass and ratify such a constitutional amendment as soon as possible.

Congressional Hearing on Citizens United: The Consequences for Democracy and Potential Responses by Congress

February 6, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm UTC+0

Breaking News: Thanks to your efforts, an amendment to get big money out of politics just had a major national breakthrough. We have an official public hearing in Congress, Thursday Feb 6th, in the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties Committee!

This is a public hearing, so let’s pack the house. Our job is to show Congress that getting big money out of politics is something all Americans – Republicans, Democrats, and Independents – care about. We know this isn’t a partisan issue, and have to make sure Congress knows too!

Over the past two years, you’ve had over 200 meetings in Washington D.C. as part of our Citizen Lobby Days. This hearing is just one tangible example of your impact!

Attendees of the 2019 Citizen Lobby Day stand outside the Capitol before meeting with elected officials to discuss the 28th Amendment.
