I join the overwhelming majority of Americans to demand an amendment to the United States Constitution to end the domination of big money in politics and give voice to all Americans.

I will stand with all Americans, without regard to party or other differences, and urge all candidates and elected officials to do the same, in order to pass and ratify such a constitutional amendment as soon as possible.

Granny D Memorial Walk

August 3, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm UTC+0

SAVE THE DATE for the 2019 Granny D Memorial Walk! This is the 6th Annual Walk and the 20th Anniversary of Doris’s historic walk.

We will begin walking at 9 am near Granny D’s home in Dublin and end in Depot Square, Peterborough for a Community Celebration. We will hear stories about Granny D from some of her friends and have music and lunch!

Walkers will gather at the corner of Cobb Meadow Rd. and E. Harrisville Rd. in Dublin, near Granny D’s home. We will have coffee and water available, as well as water bottles. Pre-order your very own Granny D walking hat by emailing doreen@opendemocracy.me. $20 each.

If you would like to just walk the last mile with us, you can meet up at Adam’s Playground at 71 Union St. and join with us. If you would like a shuttle ride to the playground, please email doreen@opendemocracy.me. Or you may just come to the Rally and lunch at Depot Square at noon! (However you decide to join us, please RSVP, so that we have enough food.)

Parking: There will be shuttles leaving from 16 Summer St. (behind the Fire Dept.) in Peterborough beginning at 8:30 am. Please email Garrett at garrett@opendemocracy.me by August 2 to secure a seat. If you prefer to park at Cobb Rd., please be advised that it is a dirt road. We will also have shuttles to take you back to your car after the event. Again, you will need to email garrett@opendemocracy.me to secure a ride.

Food: Please email Doreen at doreen@opendemocracy.me if you have dietary requirements (i.e., gluten free, vegan, etc.)

Speakers will include a panel of Doris Haddocks friends, who will share memories of her.

This event is co-sponsored by American Pormise, Open Democracy NH, Mothers Out Front Monadnock, League of Women Voters-Peterborough and Rights and Democracy-NH.
