Lobby Day Training #2 – Coordination of Congressional Meetings

I join the overwhelming majority of Americans to demand an amendment to the United States Constitution to end the domination of big money in politics and give voice to all Americans.

I will stand with all Americans, without regard to party or other differences, and urge all candidates and elected officials to do the same, in order to pass and ratify such a constitutional amendment as soon as possible.

Lobby Day Training #2 – Coordination of Congressional Meetings

June 5 @ 7:00 pm EDT

This will be the second and final virtual training session leading up to American Promise’s National Citizen Leadership Conference & Lobby Day on June 11th and 12th. The training will be led by American Promise’s Director of Congressional Affairs, Jim Dornan, along with Director of Mobilization, Mike Monetta.

This training session will focus on coordination of congressional meetings so that all attendees are on the same page, ensuring people know who they will be going into meetings with, determining the roles people will have, and making sure that those going into meetings together are connected for further strategizing and coordinating outside of this training session.

The training is designed for those attending the 2024 NCLC Lobby Day on June 12th. We expect to have over 100 people participating in these Congressional meetings so it’s critical that we coordinate with each other to get on the same page leading up to the event.

What you can expect during the meeting:

  • Recap of the the previous training session
    • Schedule for June 12th, Lobby Day
    • Meeting location and logistics
    • Resources for Lobby Day
  • Coordination of congressional meetings
  • Attendee roles and resources
  • Open Forum for Q & A
