I join the overwhelming majority of Americans to demand an amendment to the United States Constitution to end the domination of big money in politics and give voice to all Americans.

I will stand with all Americans, without regard to party or other differences, and urge all candidates and elected officials to do the same, in order to pass and ratify such a constitutional amendment as soon as possible.

New Hampshire HB 504 Public Hearing!

May 1, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am UTC+0

HB 504, a bill in the New Hampshire legislature addressing pay-to-play politics and partisan gerrymandering, has a public hearing the morning of May 1st and you’re invited!

The public hearing officially starts at 9:20am in Legislative Office Building (LOB) Room 102 (33 N State St, Concord, NH 03301), but Open Democracy NH has kindly volunteered their conference room as a place to convene before the public hearing. We’ll gather at 4 Park St, Concord NH 03301 at 8am before walking to the legislative office building together for the public hearing.

HB 504 would make New Hampshire the 20th State to call for the Amendment, heeding the call of 82 Granite State local resolutions voicing the will of the people on these foundational issues and of the 80% of New Hampshire Citizens who want their legislators to do something about money and its impact on elections and governance (85% of Independent voters; 74% of Republicans and 79% of Democrats).

RSVP here, and before May 1st, use our easy action tool to call and email your state senator urging them to vote YES on HB 504!
