Show MI The Money: Campaign Finance Reform Lobby Day

The Michigan American Promise chapter is collaborating with pro-Democracy groups across the political spectrum on a Citizen Lobby Day at the Sate Capitol to highlight the need for campaign finance reform in Michigan.
Hundreds of supporters and volunteer activists will meet with nearly every member of the Legislature to call for action addressing the issue of big money in our elections. There will also be a midday rally and press conference.
We’re calling on Michigan to join 22 other states to do two things –
(1) take action on limiting dark money, special interest and foreign government influence in our Michigan elections, and
(2) call on Congress to pass the For Our Freedom Amendment.
