I join the overwhelming majority of Americans to demand an amendment to the United States Constitution to end the domination of big money in politics and give voice to all Americans.

I will stand with all Americans, without regard to party or other differences, and urge all candidates and elected officials to do the same, in order to pass and ratify such a constitutional amendment as soon as possible.

Stand with Maine Launch

January 22, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm UTC+0

They call it the Maine Resolution. A few years ago, Maine helped launch a national cross-partisan movement for the next amendment to the U.S. Constitution to put power in the hands of the American people, not just the big-money donors. Now we need this big reform more than ever as Maine faces the most expensive, divisive election in our history, with most of the money coming from outside of Maine.

RSVP now to join us in Brewer on the evening of January 22, 2020. Join the fastest growing reform movement in America and help us launch Stand With Maine!

Maine’s American Promise Association hosts an evening to learn how money is corrupting our political system and what we can do about it. We’ll also honor three of the cross-partisan leaders who helped unite Maine in this fight for our voices, our government of the people: former State Senators Ed Youngblood (Republican) and Dick Woodbury (Independent) and former State Representative Diane Russell (Democrat). We’ll also be joined by special guest, former Congressman Tom Allen.

It’s time to Stand With Maine. When Mainers are united, we can make sure all of our elected representatives, regardless of party, stand with Maine, not with big donors and outside interests.
