This Townhall will be moderated by Hedrick Smith, Pulitzer Prize-winning former New York Times reporter and editor and Emmy award-winning producer/correspondent. We will review the role of universities, legislators and individual advocates in serving as catalysts for change. Panelists will include: Professor Karen Hult from the Virginia Tech Department of Political Science, Delegate Chris Hurst, representing the 12th District, and Nancy Morgan, coordinator of the VA Chapter of American Promise.
