I support the 28th Amendment to ensure comprehensive campaign finance reform that gets corporate money out of our political process. Not only are political calculations by corporations an inefficient use of resources and deleterious to GDP growth, but they tilt the balance of power in favor of corporate interests and the wealthy, at the expense of the citizenry and the democratic process. The last four years have made that abundantly clear. A majority of CEOs say political spending alters the marketplace and would prefer a level playing field. It's not only in the best interest of corporations, but the public and our democracy to pass the 28th Amendment. I urge all business leaders to support this effort.
