Julie is a Legal Counsel & Program Advisor for American Promise. She worked for many years as a corporate lawyer at several large Boston law firms before leaving to become the administrator of the MIT/CALTECH Voting Technology Project where she found a passion for non-partisan democracy reform. Julie has devoted herself to the passage of the For Our Freedom Amendment since 2018, initially as a pro bono legal fellow before joining the American Promise staff in 2023. She holds a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and an A.B. from Georgetown University. She is a member of the Lincoln Housing Commission, in her home town of Lincoln, Massachusetts.
