Rochester, NH – Democracy is Brewing

I join the overwhelming majority of Americans to demand an amendment to the United States Constitution to end the domination of big money in politics and give voice to all Americans.

I will stand with all Americans, without regard to party or other differences, and urge all candidates and elected officials to do the same, in order to pass and ratify such a constitutional amendment as soon as possible.

Rochester, NH – Democracy is Brewing

April 9, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm UTC+0

Come learn more about ongoing work to reclaim our government from big money over a nice drink!

Whether your issue is the opioid crisis, the $21 trillion national debt, a healthy economy where businesses have an equal chance to compete, the rights of states to make their own election laws, or affordable healthcare, in order to win meaningful lasting reform, we must fix our Constitution first so our government serves people, not lobbyists and campaign donors.

Speaking will be Ben Gubits, American Promise Director of Political Strategy.

You’ll meet an active group of citizen leaders preparing to meet with legislators, engage with the media, and present to the public, all about the problem of money in politics and, more importantly, about the solution of a 28th Amendment to reverse a series of Supreme Court decisions which likened money to speech and gave Constitutional rights meant for people to corporations and unions.

The fight to win a working democracy will not be an easy one, but we are well on our way to make sure our government knows that people, not money, govern the United States!
