I join the overwhelming majority of Americans to demand an amendment to the United States Constitution to end the domination of big money in politics and give voice to all Americans.

I will stand with all Americans, without regard to party or other differences, and urge all candidates and elected officials to do the same, in order to pass and ratify such a constitutional amendment as soon as possible.

Shortly after suffering the loss of his 25-year-old son, Representative Jamie Raskin (D-MD) stepped up to take the lead in the case for the impeachment of former President Donald J. Trump for his role in inciting the insurrection at the nation’s Capitol. A seasoned Constitutional scholar, Rep. Raskin’s dedication to democracy is exemplified in his commitment to justice and healing.

Rep. Raskin is also a lead cosponsor of a Constitutional amendment to get big money out of politics.

In the video below, Rep. Raskin breaks down the unbridled political spending in American politics by wealthy elites, corporations, special interest groups, and unions. This dishonorable political system silences the voices of citizens and corrupts our ability to be represented by a government that is of, by, and for, the people.

Bringing us back to our founding principles as a nation, Rep. Raskin says the integrity of a people-centered democracy is integral for our country to thrive. Watch his full speech below.
